1.Test on the Bim

Slowly but surely ...

The second academic term ended, the work will be resumed.

The system works better than expected, the rudder rises easily and to get down, the required pressure is still lower than expected.

The bungee cord is locked in a cleat to be able to adjust the tension or remove the bungee cord if necessary.

It remains to increase the diameter of the rope for it hangs well into the cleat and properly attach the bungee to the rudder head.

It will then test on the water. For the beach start, it looks really great!

Week-end without wind ...

I have not enough time to continue my new boat. However, I found 45 minutes to advance on the Bim.

This summer, a big change of direction broke the rudder head of my Bim.

I bought a set of wingfox rudder.

I benefit to change my rudder to test the system lifting rudder for my boat under construction.

I will change only the port hull, test a little, and I will make the starboard hull later with new improvements. I could work only 45 minutes thats why I had not advance much. I just put the tube and watched how it goes. It seems very effective and simpler to implement than expected.
